The original version of Car Models List in .DOC format, started in 2003. It dates back from the childhood hobby for writing book-style printer-friendly documents in Word (although I never printed it and I guess that nobody will do this).
Coverage: 1953-present, worldwide, in case of cars sold with different specs in various regions, the “market of sale” column shows EUDM (Europe), USDM (United States), MXDM (Mexico), LADM (Latin America), AUDM (Australia), etc. Cars sold with same specs all over the world have this column empty, so there is no way to filter out only cars sold in a particular country.
Along time, few people asked me for a database of tires, I usually said “I have databases of car models with tire size indicated, not database of tire models. However, in May 2017, a customer who purchased TireSize database told me to scrap data from DiscountTire.com but this turned impossible because every time I access website via scraper it gets redirected to store-locator page. A second customer also appeared asking me for a tire models database.
Source of data: carsalesbase.com and compiled in Excel by me for easy use in your projects. I update yearly in February when carsalesbase.com publish data for previous year. carsalesbase.com also shows number of cars sold by month, but number of people interested in such data is too small to justify my effort to update monthly. So I included only yearly sales.
