Do you offer refunds?

Digital databases are non-tangible products and cannot be “returned” after delivery in the same way as physical goods.

For this reason, refunds are generally not offered once a purchase is completed, except in specific cases described below:

  • Accidental duplicate purchases.
  • Incorrect product purchased: I can refund as long you do not click download links (I do log downloads).
  • Upgrade to a bigger database: you need 1990-2023 but accidentally buy 2020-2023 (new cars only), you contact me and ask to pay difference to 1990-2023, but it’s past midnight, so you buy 1990-2023 at full price before I come online, I can refund your initial purchase of 2020-2023.

If you find missing cars, data errors or experience any issues with the database, please contact me. Reporting errors helps me improving the data for you and other customers. Refunding does NOT help either party.

Most database are made using scripts to extract data from websites. The source websites may rename field labels over time, case in which scraper must be updated accordingly, or will leave that field empty. If you see data on website that is missing from database, report it and I will include in the next update. If the source website is not providing a particular field, I cannot add it.

Quality assurance

I am selling databases since 2012, by 2017 I made over 1000 happy customers and only 3-4 refunds. 99% happiness ratio.

Currently 40% customers purchase without even contacting me (even higher percentage in case of small/cheap databases). If you are unsure which database suit your needs, contact me. I offer support via LiveChat 10-14 hours/day.

Refund requests for “I did not knew that you don’t have data I am looking for” are not accepted. Samples (few rows) for each database are posted since 2012 to test data for free before purchasing full database. Since 2019 I also added videos scrolling through all rows, so you can see exactly what do you get once purchasing.

Refund requests for “this column is incomplete” are NOT accepted. You can see list of fields (specifications) on website, inside Excel samples and on presentation video, all indicating completion percentage (how many rows are filled up). Other data providers may not offer that specific field at all. So my database is the BEST. If someone still ask for refund without proving that other provider’s database is better than mine, it is probably an abusive way to use my car database for free.

I created the BEST car databases, however best does not mean perfect. Do not ask refund and purchase from other provider, you risk getting a database with even more errors, then realize that mine was still best option. I am the only data provider who takes care of customer feedback and improve databases accordingly.

If you are from Asia, Africa or Latin America you will never find a suitable automobile database containing all cars sold in your country. If you buy my databases complete for cars sold in Europe, America, etc you may get 60-80% of cars sold in your country. Not perfect but is there any better option?

    1. What do you want me to mention? Customer names, emails and phone numbers like on websites where people submit spam emails for shaming spammers? I won’t do that! For privacy reasons I mention ONLY country.

      I am curious what pages did you opened and if you realized how many databases I am selling and that they guarantee COMPLETION for certain countries, if you are from another country you may find some cars sold at you but missing from my database. Without indicating where customer is from, readers may misunderstood that I am selling an incomplete database for Europe (especially at 2nd dispute).
