The Sims 2 base game come with 3 pre-made neighborhoods (Pleasantview, Strangetown, Veronaville), expansion packs add 11 pre-made neighborhoods: 3 normal neighborhoods (Riverblossom Hills, Desiderata Valley, Belladonna Cove), and 8 sub-neighborhoods which can be linked to each neighborhood separately and visited: 3 university campuses (La Fiesta Tech, Académie Le Tour, Downtown), 1 Downtown, 1 shopping district (Bluewater Village), 3 vacation destinations (Takemizu Village, Three Lakes, Twikkii Island).

I compiled in Excel a table with all lots from every neighborhood of The Sims 1: Neighborhood 1, Neightborhood 2, Downtown, Vacation Island, Old Town, Studio Town, Magic Town. Total 7 neighborhoods and 88 lots. Lot size, price, house / family name.

I compiled an Excel database with all career tracks and job positions, showing also job description, salary, work days, daily tasks and promotion requirements, etc. As end-2022 the database contain 46 career tracks of which 35 have details for 441 jobs.
I compiled an Excel database with all career tracks and job positions, showing also job description, salary, work days, skills and responsibilities required, etc. Creating this Excel table was more difficult compared with The Sims 1 and 2, because The Sims 3 have careers some with 2 branches (paying hourly), professions (paying weekly) and part-time jobs, in total 49 careers and 482 job positions. I compiled Excel tables with list of items in The Sims 1 (took about 15 hours) and The Sims 2 (took about 50 hours). Due to large amount of work spent making these stuff, and being probably the only person (or at least the first) who made such complete database of items in Sims games, I offer the database for paid download only.
The cost of land in The Sims 2 is pretty crazy and does not follow a standard formula of price per square meter or feet, the smallest possible lot (1×1, not available without mods) is -$400, negative price. In The Sims 3 land prices are standardized, $2 per square meter. The lots can have any size, no longer need to be multiply of 10. The largest lot available (64 x 64 squares) is $8192.
