{"id":3758,"date":"2018-12-30T12:00:26","date_gmt":"2018-12-30T12:00:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.teoalida.com\/thesims\/?p=3758"},"modified":"2021-03-12T20:40:19","modified_gmt":"2021-03-12T20:40:19","slug":"list-of-houses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.teoalida.com\/thesims\/list-of-houses\/","title":{"rendered":"List of houses built by Teoalida"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I designed and built too many houses in The Sims 2 &amp; 3, some people ask me &#8220;<em>please give me a 3-bedroom home<\/em>&#8221; or &#8220;<em>which sims homes\u00a0have 4 bedrooms?<\/em>&#8221; So made this table to sort things out!<\/p>\n<p><strong>U\/C<\/strong> = under construction, houses built but unhappy of results so I may rebuild them later.<br \/>\n<strong>Bath 2h\/4h<\/strong> = half baths one for toilet and one for bathtub, more efficient use by multiple sims.<br \/>\n<strong>Facing<\/strong>\u00a0(The Sims 2 only) = I define default lot orientation as North, thus in the lot view, South-facing lots are those with sun lighting street side and right side. In neighborhood view the sun is on opposite direction.<br \/>\nI do not enjoy rotating lots because this will rotate sun direction too.<\/p>\n<p>I usually design symmetrical homes\u00a0on south\/north facing lots and asymmetrical homes\u00a0on east\/west facing lots. Beside basic furnishing, most houses also contain swimming pool, computers, easel, piano, lights, window curtains, etc. Due to this reason, all houses have comparable price $100,000 \u2013 $150,000 nearly proportional with floor area.<\/p>\n<p>Excessive use of decorative items is avoided (expensive paintings and statues), they can be found only in high-end buildings such as Palace Trianon I uninstalled all expansion packs to build basegame-only houses.\u00a0Later I realized that was not necessary to uninstall, I could use <a href=\"\/\/modthesims.info\/download.php?t=250555\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">AnyGameStarter<\/a> to create mini-games with selected expansion packs.<br \/>\n<em>I hate simmers\u00a0who design simple starter homes using all 16 expansion and stuff packs.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>NO Custom Content<\/strong> in my houses.<br \/>\n<em>Because some simmers\u00a0hate CC.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>All my houses are fully furnished<\/strong>,\u00a0except the ones built\u00a0solo for <a href=\"\/thesims\/tag\/decorative-houses\/\">decorative purposes<\/a>.<br \/>\n<em>Because most houses are small and designed to optimize furniture placements, without furniture I could not do design the house. Houses with messy floor plans, oversized houses with bad furniture placements, even worse, no sofa facing TV, just two diagonal sofas that cannot be used for watching TV.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently some people built the houses to look like (a bad) real life, rather than for playing Sims in them.\u00a0<strong>You will NOT find such stupidities in my houses!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is the KING of idiots:<br \/>\n<em>I recently told myself I don&#8217;t need any more houses b\/c my lots bin is full of houses I rarely use. <strong>But none of them are purple (it&#8217;s my favorite color).
