Someone saying “do you have updated india mobile database” gave me impression of a customer who purchased database and require an update, I actually had a customer who purchased India Mobile Phone Database and asked me to update data few days earlier, due to urgent personal problems and other projects on waiting list, I didn’t had time to update… I though that is same person.
After 10 min of chatting I realized that he is not an existing customer and he do not want a database of mobile phone DEVICES, but rather a database of mobile phone NUMBERS which I have no idea how to get them and beside this is personal information illegal to distribute. There was a message at top of page that I am NOT selling any database of phone numbers, but many Indians are idiots and start chatting without reading my disclaimer, causing confusion and waste my time!

Note for telemarketers who want email database or phone numbers to spam SMS ads: sorry but I may be not able to provide emails or phone numbers. All major classifieds websites use various anti-scraping features purposely to prevent users posting cars for sale to be spammed with unsolicited calls and emails.
For example phone numbers is generated to be displayed as an image, you need to click a button or solve a captcha to reveal seller phone number (certain anti-scraping features can be beaten, for example by using an OCR software, but this is difficult and I rather don’t bother doing this).
There may be some small websites that do not use any protection. Check yourself by right clicking page > view source, Ctrl+F and try to find phone number, if it is here, then I can easily scrap it.
