      Blocks 113 and 114 have not been included for SERS. These two point blocks are 25-storeys high with a total of 192 units of 5-room sold flats. Given their existing height, it is more viable to upgrade these blocks than to redevelop them. Hence they have been scheduled for the Main Upgrading Programme by the year 2000, in tandem with the redevelopment works in Phase II.

    I stay in marine parade and its true that no new hdb at all. given the estate is all in 1970s and i really wonder even with airbase removed in 2026,how is the govt going to replace the whole estate?

    Also, may you elaborate more on jalan batu SERS potential? As im looking at 10 jalan batu for staying.thank a million (this is not spam as im currently flat hunting for 5rm >120sqm and EA in the east and central area. In fact, today i just viewed 60 Dakota cres EM ~nice but costly)

    1. We talked on chat… in conclusion: don’t worry about hard-to-sell Marine Parade, this location is excellent, 5-room flat prices there rivalize with Executive flats in Queenstown, buyers will pay a lot regardless of depleting leases.

  2. What do you say about Blk 78 to 82 Bedok north road?
    Had LUP done 2 years ago but nothing else there after. Blk hasn’t even been painted yet since then and has been a sore eye for the difference in color between the lift shaft and the original block color itself. Huge open air car park.

      Other blocks had LUP 10 years ago and nothing else after. Toa Payoh blocks 1-3 had MUP in 1990 then nothing else even if 25 years passed. If they invested in upgrading, then the block will stand 20-30 more years at least.

  3. 80 sers site will be selected from Jurong east between 2015,2016, Pandan gardens will be the lucky one. LUP Compeletd 2013 but payment put on hold. Fromer teban sers site will be replacement site. Whoever stay in pandan DONT SELL.source from sla,hdb insider.

      80 SERS sites! What are you dreaming? Given by high costs of SERS programes, I’m doubt that HDB can announce more than 2 SERS sites per year. Also, most of blocks got LUP, only few were left to be potential SERS sites. I don’t think that any block with LUP will be selected for SERS before 2025, given by the fact that there are many blocks with MUP only that are likely to be demolished earlier than the blocks who got also LUP. Pandan Gardens does have only 3 blocks without LUP: 410-412, they got only IUP in 1994.

I do believe 80 sers site will be from Jurong east pandan gardens, Why? i still not yet receive my bill for LUP, By 2018 all the eilable HDB flats must be selected for HIP and according to MND it will be inform flat owner 2 year before hand. When i wrote to HDB and to my MP they reply were no plan for now. 410,411,412 only one lift is been replace and it stop every floor FYI ,now you tell me as a owner of 1979 flat and with 14 + 2 shophouse with a huge space of getting selected. Not to mention the upcoming JRL mrt where do they want to place the one of the 30 station? Do more research and tell singapore why not ?

  4. Teoalida please provide true information, my mum stay at pandan 412 her lift is upgraded during luplus.no charges still now. My sister stay at 405 also say no lup charges so far. Are your fact correct?

    1. I provide info and analysis based by Enquire status of upgrading programmes e-service, which does contain errors. I added today a disclaimer regarding this. HDB website itself have a disclaimer “3. HDB does not warrant that the information provided will be timely, uninterrupted or free from error.
      Can’t know the correct info without a little help from website visitors, and there are some morons (Jeffery) which provide WRONG info. I suspect that Wong and gan are his friends or even himself using multiple IPs.

      For your info:
      IUP is fully funded by government, that’s why you are not billed.
      LUP you pay a small percentage, but does matter if was not billed yet or will be billed later? LUP does cost HDB money regardless you were billed or not, if the block was reserved for redevelopment, why HDB would have invested money in upgrading?
      IUP Plus (combined with LUP) was introduced in 2002. Will be very surprised that a lift was upgraded with IUP in 1994.
